In Thousand Oaks, California, Gardens of the World is an unpaid, 4-1/2-acre garden. It's located just across Thousand Oaks Boulevard from the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. The garden is run through Hogan Family Foundation. Hogan Family Foundation, which offers a range of civic and educational activities.

Gardens of the World is the creation of Ed and Lynn Hogan, who had an interest in sharing their travel experiences with other people. They were also driven by the desire to help their local community.
